WERKSAAM A network of empowerment
Werksaam is an initiative that facilitates job opportunities for unemployed individuals. Companies with available job openings can approach the Terugploeg team, and through our network of approved organizations, people can be recruited and employed. There are also job opportunities available to work on-site at the Terugploeg facility.
The main goal of Werksaam is to empower beneficiaries from approved organizations so they do not remain dependent on donations and charity but instead receive the necessary training and opportunities to enter the formal job market.
BOERSAAM Purchase cattle and pay it forward
Boersaam is a funding initiative established to make Terugploeg sustainable in the long term. Participating kraals across the country, where cattle can be purchased by members of the public, will be identified. The respective cattle farmers will manage the Terugploeg herd as part of their own herd. The annual tally will enable us to sell the bulls, thereby generating income to fund Terugploeg’s other initiatives.
You now have the opportunity to support Terugploeg by purchasing a cattle and helping us establish the Terugploeg herd across South Africa.
VOEDSAAM Feed change
Voedsaam is the food distribution arm of Terugploeg. Food is distributed to approved organizations, which then responsibly make it available to individuals in need.
You can support us by donating fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, or non-perishable products, or by making a financial contribution.
