Purchase cattle and pay it forward.

Kalahari Kraal
Boersaam is a funding initiative established to make Terugploeg sustainable in the long term. Participating kraals across the country have been identified where members of the public can purchase cattle. The respective cattle farmers manage the Terugploeg herd as part of their own herds. The annual breeding will enable us to sell the bulls and thereby generate income to fund Terugploeg‘s other initiatives.
You now have the opportunity to support Terugploeg by purchasing a cow and helping us establish the Terugploeg herd across South Africa.

About this initiative
The Brahman or Brahma is a cattle breed similar to the Zebu (Bos primigenius indicus) that was first bred in America from cattle breeds imported from India. Brahman cattle were developed through crossbreeding of the Kankrej, Gujarat, Ongole, and the Gir (or Gyr) strains. The Brahman is one of the most popular cattle breeds intended for meat production and is commonly used in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, the United States of America, and many other places.
